Last night (which was my last night!), I had Chinese food for dinner while at work. I thought the fortune in my fortune cookie was rather interesting:
"This is a prosperous time of life for you."
I hope so! Though being prosperous monetarily is nice-- especially when one has to pay for student loans, car insurance, some rent, car repairs, cell phone etc-- I hope that I will be even more prosperous in frienships and experiences. I signed up to do BFS, so I hope that this will be a spiritually prosperous time for me as well.
Don't worry, I do not stake my life on fortunes from fortune cookies, but this one got me thinking...
