Last weekend

I don't think I mentioned how splendid last weekend was. It was alumni weekend here, so there was lots of stuff happening around campus. I don't remember what we did Friday afternoon, but I do remember that we had a good time until 3 Minutes (talent night in which you can get kicked off the stage- great fun). I played powder puff football on Saturday afternoon during which I ran the ball in for a touchdown (go me!), as well as got stepped on by a cleated foot. My ankle still hurts a bit...well, that's what I get for playing football with the boys! (I scored the touchdown against during the girls game, got stepped on while we were scrimmaging the boys.)
After a refreshing shower, I trotted off to the soccer game with Lindsey and Kourtney. We won, though toward the end Kourtney and I decided that the opposing team's goalie needed a hug because he had allowed so many goals. Poor guy was probably pretty depressed.
Burrito Bandito was our next stop where we met up with Macy. (I got tacos this time instead of a burrito. They were good, but I still like the burritos better.) Half of Simpson seemed to be at Bandito, and we all sat together in the back room; it was quite fun.
The USC-UofArizona game was on, so we went back to Kourtney's room to watch that, at which point the room was flooded with girls- poor Macy. He handled it well, though.
The big event of the day was a concert- yes, a concert at Simpson! Weird, I know. Anyway, The Myriad played- check them out on MySpace, they're pretty cool. Jackson described their sound as "dark alternative," which didn't mean much to me either until I heard them. And then it did. So yeah, check them out!
This week went fairly well until last night when I started studying for a test at 10:30 pm- the test was this morning at 8:00. Yeah, I started panicking etc etc. But the test wasn't too bad (I hope). Now it's almost the weekend; home free! Hooray!
