Or at least New Orleans. I'll be back on June 16th, and I don't think that I will have internet access there, so this is it until I return. I know, my lack of inspirational musings will be extremely detrimental to your intellectual stimulation, and I apologize; I hope you will survive. =) Haha.
We have 9 team members, five of which are "returning" and four are "newcomers." Please pray that we all get along, that there's no drama etc. It's very emotional being down there, very wearing to see devastation everywhere you look, so prayer for endurance would be helpful as well. Theoretically, we will be gutting houses in the morning/early afternoon, and doing VBS with the neighborhood kids in the evening. I'm excited for both; interacting with kids is always fun, and gutting houses... well hey, everyone needs manual labor experience in their life, right?
Well, off to finish packing and to find a packet that I'm supposed to read for training week... oops, completely forgot about that. hehe. Have a good month. =)
