I was reading Lou's most recent post, and rrrr... so frusrating! Christians wonder why they are so persecuted... after experiences like Lou's it should be no surprise. Our message is about love; some think that those who are not Christians need to be hit in between the eyes with condemnation, but that only offends them, turning them off to any chance you had to show them Christ.
I try to make my beliefs clear, but not shoving them down other peoples' throats. They know what I think of their behavior/religion; why do I need to remind them? As long as I live a consistent, honest, Christ-reflecting life then that should be the most effective way to show others my faith.
I should be bold about my faith; others should know the way to Christ because I had a chance to share my faith with them, but they should not be turned off because I forced them into it or condemned them.
Ok, it's late, and I'm not sure that all made sense. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone, or make anything unclear. Apologies all around.
