Catch Up

(Yes, I realize that by being from California I *should* have a better tan than those from Illinois...)


My "large" fan base and some lurkers (Hi, Heather! *waves*) have made their opinion known: I need to update more. So here it is.

Break is going well. I've been keeping busy by seeing my friends, crocheting, and doing stuff my family has needed to do. Church conference was good, I enjoyed (most) the meetings. I didn't realize how much I've missed all my church friends- we had a blast! One night we went to a place called Dromo One at which you drive fast go-carts.



So yeah, conference went well. Now I have school to "look forward" to. I go back up on Monday. I've missed my friends but not my homework. =)

And because I promised TAB a quick blurb: Yes, USC lost to Texas in the Rose Bowl. Our offense did well, but our defense fell apart. Why they can't contain one person is beyond me. And I'm not sure why whenever a Texan caught a pass, all the USC defenders were 5 yards off him. Arg. So frustrating. For Pete's sake- HIT the guy!! Anyway. My cousins came over to watch it with us; we get rather loud. Great fun. =) Abby is in mourning today; she's wearing all black.

I get to see my friends one more time before I leave. Kels and I are spending the night at Sarah's on Friday, then a large group is going bowling and out to dinner for my birthday. (January 7th, if you're curious as to the specific date).

I think that's about all around here. I have a bazillion and one things to do before I go back up to school, but (hopefully) I'll get them all done.
