I got through finals- hooray! I didn't study as much as I probably should have, but I finished fairly well. Considering I had 18 units and a more active social life than I did last year, I feel that I did well. It sure is nice to have a break, though. I just got tired of the feeling that homework was hanging over my head all the time. The thing with college is that you're never done with homework. There is always homework to do for one class or another. And once that is finished, you can always get ahead. Bleh. But this semester was so fun. I got to know some of the girls on my floor and we had a blast together. These next few years are going to be great. =)
Christmas vacation has gone well so far. I've been able to spend time with my friends as well as my family. In fact, I've spent so much time with the fam that I think it's about time to go back to school... ;-) But next week is church conference- I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again. I miss the "meeting" bunch. So it's been pretty laid back around here lately, but it'll pick up pretty soon. Today we're going to go see Narnia, then come back to eat Christmas dinner. Yum... Ham and potatoes... Apparently we're also going to open presents tonight because it will be too hectic in the morning before church. NO! We're breaking tradition! How can this be?? Haha.
My cousins are coming over tomorrow after church, then we're going to someone's house for awhile. We're going to the beach on Monday for a Boxing Day party with a ton of people- if everyone shows up, there might be lots of drama. It could get interesting. Maybe too interesting.
Well, merry Christmas, everyone!! Oh, I can't believe this weather! It's WARM!! It's over 80 degrees- on Christmas eve!! I'm supposed to be wearing jeans, a sweater and a beanie, not shorts and a t-shirt! Where's the white Christmas??? Well, we never have one here anyway, but can't it be at least a little bit cooler? But I'm thankful for the warmth: all too soon I'll be back in the Far Cold North.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! and happy new year...
Here's a lovely picture.
