Stormy Weather

Yes! Southern California had RAIN in JULY!! Imagine! It has been extremely muggy lately, so I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Actaully, I take that back. It occasionally gets pretty humid here, but it never rains. I have never seen rain in the summer down here before. And it wasn't just sprinkles because we were standing in a hot cloud- it was a downpour! It came down like mad, soaking everyone who did not take cover. We were at basketball camp, so all the kids playing ball were excited about it. It cooled them off- at least until it stopped raining and was super muggy again.

After basketball camp, I went out to eat with some friends. Well, they're really people I know rather than friends. I'm not real close to any of them. I guess Leilani would be a friend, but I don't know the others very well, and would not hang out with them on a regular basis. But it was nice to do something different for a change.
