Weekend

I spent a lovely Saturday at Sarah's house scrapbooking. Gosh, I haven't scrapbooked in so long, I've kinda forgotton how. My creativeness is not what it used to be. But it was fun to get back into the swing of it. I am now motivated to finish up as quickly as possible!!

Abby, Sam, Davy, Niloticus and I went to Bible Study Saturday night which turned out to be a small crowd. Besides the 5 of us, there were only 2 other people, plus the hosts. The conversation was good, however, and it was fun to get to know each other. That's the advantages to small crowds.

Our church has a potluck every 3rd Sunday of the month, but this month it was postponed to 4th Sunday in respect of Father's Day (though my mom was disappointed about not being able to take my dad to a free buffet...). Anyway, relatives from the east coast were out, and it was SO GOOD to see them!! I wish they lived closer.

After that, we went to a wedding reception for some cousin of mine who we never see. Apparently, she was married for a year and didn't tell anyone. They weren't going to do anything for a wedding/reception thing, but the moms and grandmas forced it. It was at a restaurant in Marina Del Ray called The Warehouse. It was decorated kinda cool and stars' pictures were posted everywhere, but I was not terribly impressed with the food. But the view over the bay thing was nice. When I marry my millionare husband, I want a boat. Or two. Hehe.

But it's back to work tomorrow, 11-5. It's nice because I get to sleep in and I don't have to close, but it COMPLETELY kills my day. Not enough time before 11 to do anything, and not much time after 5 to do anything. Boo. But hey, it's a job. And he's giving me hours.

Well, that is all that is interesting in my life. Except someone's trying to get me to buy a motorcycle. They're starting to convince me... NOOOOOOOO!! =)
