Well, last weekend Janelle and I went shopping and I got some really cool stuff. I finally got running shoes. They're Reebok, so they should last quite awhile. I also found some LONG (!!!) shorts at Old Navy (you can't go wrong at Old Navy). They are blue and very cute while still being modest. Even though they cost more than I usually spend on shorts, I think I might get the tan ones as well. They are so worth it. Whenever I have money again, that is. Haha. Joke of the day. I also got 2 tanks tops which I can layer, and a zebra ear warmer (only $1.97, how could I resist??). Plus I found long, pink girls board shorts at Pac Sun, which also costs a LOT of money, but is worth it. I didn't buy them cuz I didn't want to spend the money right now, but at least I know where I can find them.
That whole paragraph is leading up to a very important point: it's supposed to be 70-75 degrees tomorrow, so I can wear my new shorts!!!! I might walk down to the park and do my homework there. I just wish I had my CDs with me- I downloaded them all onto my computer, so I didn't bring any to school. I only have The Holy War, which would be difficult to listen while doing homework. Rather, it would be difficult to do homework while listening to the CD- hehe.
Elinor the kitty does not exist anymore- poor thing!! However, Mr. Knightly the kitty does exist. When we first got him, he was too small to tell one way or the other. We were hoping he was a girl, but oh well. Apparently he is way to cute to trade in for a girl, so my family kept him. I will see him in 16 days!! Just a few more weeks, and it's spring break! Woo hoo! Unfortunately, I have a few tests/papers between now and then. But hey, I'm almost there!
I am SO excited about Sunday afternoon!! There is a hymn-sing here at school. We sing hymns occasionally at chapel, which is nice, but not with the regularity that we did back home (surprise, surprise). I have missed it, so I can't wait to sing some on Sunday!!
I'm going to balance my checkbook tonight. Blech. People told me that I would learn a lot about myself when I went off to college. Well, I have: whenever I get married, Hubby Dear is balancing the checkbook. I hate it.
Have a good weekend, everyone. Hope the weather is as good for you as it is supposed to be for us. =)
