Day After Election Day

*Disclaimer: I'm not totally up on all this politics stuff, but this is what I concluded after reading a couple articles. If I am wrong, please correct me.*

I have much more respect for Kerry than I do for Gore. Kerry was able to accept defeat gracefully by conceding. I think it really hurt the Democratic party 4 years ago when Gore kept "demanding a recount." So props to Kerry.

Hooray! Bush won!! =) All last evening, my roommate would randomly shout. "GO BUSH!!" Sadly, I could not vote this time. I usually don't mind being younger than everyone else, but I was really disappointed that I was too young to vote. Missed it by 2 months and 5 days. It's been really annoying lately to not be eighteen. There are things I want to do that I can't! Take smoking for instance. No, I'm just kidding. I would never, ever smoke. Smoking bad. But yeah, stuff like voting, getting my ears (re)pierced, stuff like that. Can't do. Oh, well, January 7 is coming fairly soon. (That was the cue to get out your daily planners and mark in the January 7 spot, "Stephanator's birthday- don't forget to buy her a present." JK. ;) ) Anyway, enough griping about that.

Well, I can't think of anything exciting. Except that my English class was canceled both today and Friday. Woo hoo! How exciting is that?? So I'll be done with classes at 11:40 today. That's always nice.

Yup, that's all. Have a great one!

Oh, and have you ever noticed the bizarre suggestions the spell checks give you? Sometimes it's not even close to the word you misspelled.
