Recognition

An award should be given to the wonderful person who invented Midol. Why I didn't know about it before, I don't know. And why did no one inform me of its wonders?? Ah well. Now I know.

The maker of TSP should also get an award. That stuff is amazing! Three of us came to Baton Rouge a few days before the rest of our team to start working on the apartments that are above the Ministry Center. Smokers had been residing in the apartments, so the walls were a gross brownish yellow color. One swipe of TSP... less brownish yellow! Another scrubbing... almost white. Rinsing the walls with water... oooh, getting better. Let's paint. So yeah, basically we could have scrubbed the walls with TSP until doomsday and they would never have been clean. Gross gross gross. But TSP sure does a good job. I think it's my New Favorite Chemical. =)

Anatomy

Today, Stephanie said, "Does anyone have a preference of breasts over thighs?"

To which Karissa replied, "Oh, I prefer breasts personally."

That was funny.

Well, here's why it happened:

The 3 of us came up to Baton Rouge today, and we were shopping for food. We wanted to get chicken, and I mentioned that I prefer dark meat, so I wouldn't mind getting some thighs. Stephanie said she was OK with either one, but thought it might be good to just get thighs, so she asked the question. And that was the funniest moment I've ever had in a grocery store.

Thankfully, I don't really have to live it down because everyone thought it was so funny. =) For another comment, on the other hand, I have had difficulty redeeming myself.

Anyway, as a team, we've been running into a few interpersonal and communication problems lately, so prayer for unity, honesty, sacrifice etc etc would be appreciated. =)
