Ugh. I'm tired. For some reason we were up late talking- it's not like we weren't tired enough to go to bed at 8:00. =) We had to get up at 7 this morning so that we could get an early start to our day. *groan*
We will finish sorting everything downstairs, which shouldn't take too long because we did so much yesterday. After that, we have no clue what's going on. I heard rumors of setting up the church at which we will be doing activities with the people who live in the FEMA trailers, but no one is really clear. One thing a lot of people want to do is take a field trip to the Piggely-Wiggely. Hopefully we will have time!!

12:30 AM
Well, we were not able to visit the Piggely- Wiggely. We did do quite a bit of work, unfortunately. We det up so many tables and did such a good job organizing yesterday- then the guy who heads up some of the relief work down here made us rearrange everything so it would be more "aesthetically pleasing." Shoot man, these people lost their homes; they aren't going to care that the folded clothes from goodwill are on a sheet of plywood that is supported between two tables rather than on a piece of paneling that is supported between two tables. Good grief, the man is crazy. It's so frustrating that we waste all taht time and energy just to move it all around again. This guy did a couple of other-- ok, lot of other things that we were so... ROAR! Irritating!! No one likes him. But one of the people who had lost their house had nothing but good words about him. He really has done a lot with the relief work around here, and has helped a lot of people. He just lacks in good personal communication. As in, no people skills- at all. Thank goodness he leaves tomorrow afternoon...
Well, I'm not going to get even 4 hours of sleep tonight (we're getting up bright and early to go to Waveland and New Orleans) so I had best get to bed.
