Sadly, summer will only last one month. But hey. I'll take what I can get.
So today was my last day of work. It wasn't that busy (thankfully), but I had a headache most the day. On the bright side, Heather and her mom gave me a lovely going-away present of a blue fleece blanket with fishies on it, my boss and his wife gave me a $25 Old Navy card (hooray! new jeans!!), and the hott guy who always orders a 32oz Passion Punch came in. I tried to think of something profound to say so that he would ask me for my number, but to no avail. ;) jk.
After I got off work, Abby and I met at Wal*Mart, went to get her hair cut, then rushed out to Old Navy where I bought two pairs of jeans. Dang, they're expensive. Hopefully they last me a long time. Sheesh, they better. I'm trying to buy more expensive jeans because they're actually denim, not that horrible stretchy denim stuff. Plus, they (sometimes) fit right. As long as they last a long time, I'm fine with it. I refuse to spend more than $30 on jeans though. That seems a bit excessive. That, or I'm cheap. Which is a high possibility.
Anyway, I drove quickly back home so Abby could get back in time to babysit for EVFree's VBS. We made it in time for her to scarf down dinner and run over there.
Now I have to do Last Minute Packing and Such Things (like taking a shower, removing my chipping nail polish, getting the clothes out of the dryer, etc).
Oh hey, I went to the beach for the first time this summer on Wednesday. I went with Lance, Luke, his girlfriend, and two other girls that Luke/girlfriend knew. We weren't there for very long, so sadly, no tan/turning a darker shade of white.
But yay! Vacation is finally here!!

What's wrong with us Californians? I find it ironic that the only time I went to a "beach" this summer was on my vacation in MICHIGAN.
Yay for Old Navy Jeans. I also like the *real* Jeans, and $30? I try to buy under $20!
