Books

I hate those fluffy romance novels. The men are always so perfect. And do you find them that perfect in real life? No. Boo. Soon, I will tackle The Double Helix by James Watson. No romance with perfect men there (I hope!).

During the track meet this afternoon, Kelsie, Casey (the new addition to our group), and Sarah (she got home last night- woo hoo!!) were going to go out to dinner because it is really boring to sit around and watch people run around a dirt circle. Except, of course, when Abby beats the pants off everyone. But it's not like she's racing all day. Sit for an hour, watch her run a 13-20 second race. How exciting.
But anyway, our dinner plans were changed- to somthing better! Apparently, there is a mystery dinner play out at Chino Hills HS which is free, which makes it all the better, even if it's not that good. The play takes place in the '20s. I've never been to a dinner play. Wait, yes I have. Does Medieval Times count?

But I'm excited about that. Hooray! I get to see Sarah!

Training was canceled last night. The store isn't opening until the middle of next week. Mark (the owner/manager) wanted to do training Saturday morning, but I'm running the 5k. I told him it wasn't important, but he wanted me to have fun (ok, so waking up before 7am to run 3.2 miles is FUN??? But I guess it's my own fault- I am doing it).

We're going out to eat Saturday night with my grandparents from Arizona. It also happens to be prom night for our group, so Abby and I are going cosmic bowling with them after prom is over. I think it's from midnight until 2am. Somehow, I'm getting up in time for 2nd service Sunday morning to go to Starbuck's with Sarah, and then head out to BP after meeting. I'm hoping to go to Solomon's Porch, Kelsie's youth group, Sunday night. Yikes. Busy weekend. So I better finish my romance novel before then.

Eh. Ditch the romance novel. They're so boring and predictable. However a perfect (for you) man does exist, somewhere. I'm a fan of perfect reality. =)

It's 3.1 miles, by the way. He he.
