And we're going to the chapel and we're going to get married...

I don't think the words are quite accurate, but hey, whatever.

So it was beck and her Superman's wedding this weekend. It was SO BEAUTIFUL!! Very simple and elegant. Beck, you get to help me with mine. ;-) It was so great. No words can describe.

CONGRATULATIONS, BECK AND JOSH!! I am so happy for you both. =)

I met a family at the wedding who lives near my school and are doing approximately what I want to do "when I grow up" (or at least when I get out of college and grad school). Their work is moving to the city where my school is, so it will be nice to know people up there. Plus, they invited me to their YP stuff. =) I miss YP/brethren stuff when I'm up there, so I'll try to make it to some events, even if they are the "other side" ;-) (for all of you who just got lost, consider yourselves lucky).
So it was a great weekend. Just too short. I wanted to hang out with everyone more.

On our way out this morning, we had brunch with my mom's brother and his girlfriend's family. Uncle Scott's girlfriend just had a baby, so we got to see our first cousin on that side of the family. It's weird not being the only kids anymore. Anyway, the baby is SO CUTE!! What a doll. She has red hair, so that only adds to her charm. Terri, the girlfriend, has 3 boys from previous marriage(s?) so we met 2 of them. Let me just say that they are the perfect Geek Family. We girls are polar opposites. Speaking of polar opposites, my mom and her brother look absolutely nothing alike. When they were getting a picture together, I was looking for similarities. I found none. At all. Mom has red hair blue eyes, Uncle Scott has brown hair and brown eyes. And their faces bear no resemblance to each other. The only thing similar is their height: they're both around 5'7".

Well, I'm sure you wanted to know all that family stuff, so I will leave you with it.

Oh, just kidding. I start work tomorrow. *aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh* I'm so nervous and stressed!!
AND the stupid job is not allowing me to go to Shallowbrook. Wait, have I mentioned this before? So I can't go to Shallowbrook, and Cait can't go to Lassen. Boo. However, ASM emailed me saying that if it works out for me to go to Shallowbrook, there is a spot for me. They are so awesome. I wish I could go.

Ok, now I'm leaving you on a depressing note. Which is worse, family stuff or depressing summer plans? So here's a cheerful little saying:

"That was totally WICKED!!!!"

I think your cheerful saying needs some context.

*Your mom has red hair? I've always thought it was blonde...
*I'm glad you came this weekend! :)
*How do you know if brethren are your people or if they're from the dark side? Do you ask them? Is it like the Sneetches in Dr. Seuss where they split up because some have stars on their bellies and some don't? Maybe I just don't want to know...

Meh. Phooey on context. ;)
Well, it's more strawberry blonde than red I guess.

Sad about Shallowbrook and Lassen! I'm in your boat too. And Yay for YP who are Christian, I say.
