It's been fairly uneventful. Like the true loser/nerd/whatever that I am, I did homework until 12:30 last night. I did have some down time, but I still did homework on a Friday night. We have a visitor who is checking out the college staying here all weekend. She is on the phone CONSTANTLY. She talked from about 2-5pm today. Loudly. Thankfully, I was finishing up my poster, so it didn't require too much concentration, but poor Janelle has had trouble writing her paper. Thankfully, she's leaving tomorrow morning; now we can concentrate on more difficult homework in the afternoon.
Janelle and I have been wanting to take the bus into town ever since the beginning of the school year. Today, we finally got our chance. It only costs a dollar each way, so that makes a cheap trip. We headed off to the mall at 11:00 this morning. Janelle wanted to highlight her hair, but it was too expensive. So we walked to our banks to deposit checks. We then got Starbucks (yum!). The girl who is staying with us wanted to get her bellybutton pierced, so we trudged over the bridge to a tattoo parlor. I have now officially been inside a tattoo parlor. Hooray. That is somewhere I don't plan to frequent, at least not for my own purposes. We walked back over the bridge, and over to Target, where Janelle got some hair dye. She's going dark blonde again. I want to dye my hair again. But not until after beck's wedding.
From Target, we raced back to the bus station, and then waited for about 10 minutes until it came. We got back to school between 2:30 and 3:00. Homework time!!!
In case you're wondering...
The point of this story: Riding the bus is fun, though I probably wouldn't do it by myself.
Another point: Oh wait. There is none.
Wow, this post is really boring. I'm going to go now. I have nothing more to say because my brain is dead. Not that I've done much homework or anything. But whatever. It's almost the end of the school year.
2 weeks and counting...
