First Sunburn of Summer

Note to self: Do not sit outside for 3 hours the first time you lay out/do homework outside.
Thankfully, the sunburn isn't too bad, so hopefully it won't hurt. At least I got some color!! =)

I figured out part way through studying that I forgot my highlighter in my room, so I grabbed my keys and ran back. I decided to wear different shorts (for maximal "tan" opportunity), so I set my keys down, changed, and got my highlighter. I hurried back out the door, saying goodbye to a sick-feeling Janelle (Lord, please don't let it be the flu!!).
Fast forward 3 hours: I come back to my room, thankful to be out of the sun. I reach to open the door- locked. Ok, no one is here. No problem. *Digs through backpack for keys* Uh-oh. I'm locked out. And I have to be somewhere at 4:15!
As an anticlimatic ending, the RA was home (for once) and she let me in. *phew*

So now I'm doing more homework until 4:15. Which is in 25 minutes. =D
And then a walk! Double =D

Ha, you haven't come to the joys of climbing in your window yet. :) It will come...the combined total of times my roommates and I did it last semester alone must be 20 or so.

I hope you're not like several in our family - the Burn & Peel sort.

Cate, it's kinda hard to climb in the window when you're on the second story and there are sharp rocks 15 feet below.
Beck's Mom, I am a classic Burn & Peel sort. I believe my shoulders will peel because they get redder as the minutes go by. But my arms and legs should be fine. But they have color!! So exciting!! No more dead-whiteness!!! (Ok, ok- less dead-whiteness.)

Eh, if you're desperate enough, you'll figure out a way ;)

I bet that if I get a chemical tan, I'll burn underneath it. I'm that white.
