Rats, it's only February. SPEAKING of which, I need to change my calendar. *changes calendar*
Well anyway, my beach comment was brought on my a little shopping spree I had today. Hehe. We went to Wal*Mart (one of my favorite stores!) to buy necessities (i.e. TP, notecards, eyebrow pencil). I ended up with the needed items, plus a wet suit top thing. Oh yeah, a rash guard. It's really cute! It's brown with pink (yes, pink) flowers on them. I have wanted a rash guard for quite awhile now, and a cute one for only $11.88 was just too good to pass up. If you get them at Quicksilver or Tillies or wherever, they're usually $30+. Hooray for good deals!!
Janelle couldn't find the thumb drive that she wanted, so we went to Target too see if they had them. Sadly, I looked in the clothes department. I found a swim suit top for only $12. And even better, it was zebra. Maybe I should say that I found a zebra swim suit, and that even better, it was $12. But the point is, how could I not buy it?? It's really cute, and now I'm very excited for summer. Now I just need pink board shorts. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pay an arm and a leg for them; they don't sell guy board shorts in pink (which I'm fine with- but if you happen to see any, pick some up!). I'll probably see if Mom and Dad will pay for half of them and I'll pay for the other half. (Love you, Mom & Dad!! You're the best!!) Nothing like flattery.
Wal*Mart rant: I really like Wal*Mart. It usually has- AHHH!! BUG!! Ok, it's dead. Anyway, it usually has everything that I want at a reasonable price. I usually don't buy their clothes, but everything else is good. The Wal*Mart at home is located in a newer section of town, so that keeps it nice. The Wal*Mart here, however... ew. I realize that it targets lower-income families, but ours is nice. This one is scary. I think it's the city/town/whatever that I live in here. A lot of people come from the back hill (*Take me back to the black hills, the black hills of Dakota!!*), so maybe that's what it is. It just gets creepy sometimes. Everyone from home, I'll show you sometime what it's like.
It has been a little warmer the past few days. I actually went outside without a jacket on. Amazing. I haven't been able to do that for months now. It was great. I even wore shorts today. Hallelujah!!
Well, enough random stuff. I just wish I were at the beach... playing volleyball... in the warm sun... ahhhhh...

Oh to have shorts weather...but snow is fun too, right?
I just got a thumb drive at Fry's. Do they have Fry's up there? Gaa! What am I saying?!? Sorry. Do they have Fry's DOWN there?
I just got a "512MB" thumb drive today at Fry's, but apparently by MB, they mean million bites in stead of 2^20, so it was only 488MB, but for $30, I'm not really complaining. I also got a $6 SD card that says 64MB, but only contains 59MB. That doesn't even work out to 64 million bytes, it's less than 62 million. Shady advertising? Yes. Still a good deal? Yep.
Another good place to go for computer stuff is pricewatch.com.
