Well, I decided to be kind to all and restore everyone's faith in my non-girlie-girl image and to spare their retinas. (And to tell you the truth, I was starting to get nauseous every time I saw my page. I left it up that long just for principle.) Anyway, it's the same template, but in blue. I have to admit, it is more soothing to the eyes, body, and soul. But I do not regret making it pink. So there.
Speaking of girlie-girl, I figured out the other day that I have Aaron Carter and Hanson on my playlist. How sad and pathetic. Aaron Carter and Hanson. Now please don't jump to conclusions; I did not buy either of their CDs- they both have one song on a soundtrack. But does that justify it?? The songs are pretty pathetic, but they're from my favorite movie! How can I delete them???
I wonder how Aaron Carter made it to stardom? Just because his brother, Nick Carter, was on Backstreet Boys? I'm sure it was.
I'm sure you're wondering how I know so much about boy bands. It is not my fault. I happened to grow up in the generation that was absolutely wild over Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, and 98 degrees (especially the first two). Most the girls on the basketball team had every poster, every CD, every picture, every fact about these people. Most of them liked N*Sync, with only a couple loving BB. I was never impressed, but in the Junior High effort to be "cool," I pretended to be mildly impressed with the whole thing.
Bonus Trivia: What is the Stephanator's favorite movie?
Anyway, on to bigger and better subjects.
I am becoming a neat freak. I'm not too bad yet, but I still like everything fairly picked up. I can stand some clutter, but after awhile, I MUST clean my room. What is happening to me??
The cafeteria food hasn't been settling well lately. This food cannot be good for my poor tummy.
Ok well, I promise to have a more exciting entry next time. I have something tolerably good, but I think I'll go with a brainless post this time.
On Sarah's away message:
to my family and friends from home: we're having a heat wave in MA! it's over 30 degrees!
She's crazy.

WE WIN!!!!! Save the retinas. Vote non pink today.
*whew*
Oh good. Now my blog can change back too. =)
It seems like a lot of those celebrity connections are helping relatively untalented people make a name for themselves, like Jessica Simpson and her sister, or Hilary Duff and her sister. And it's okay about the boy bands, I know what you mean--I too used to know most of their names...
*exhales*
Heh, let the pendulum swing...
I know what you mean about the neat freak thing. I'm not a neat freak, at least I don't consider myself to be one, but when I moved in with [roommate from hell], I found that in contrast, we have quite different philosophies about leaving stuff in common areas, and piling dishes in the sink, in stead of putting them in the empty dishwasher (and should said dishwasher be full of clean dishes, putting the dishes away). Repeat after me: "I am not a neat freak." You're just a reasonable person living among the relatively un-mothered/over-mothered. Just don't be their mommy.
