Today is Saturday, and I am thoroughly tired. Maybe it was my late hour of retirement. I’m usually asleep by 12:30, not watching a movie. But I got to sleep until 9:00, so I don’t know what my deal is. Maybe it was the 3 hour psych study session with Sarah.

Speaking of which, one of the sections this round is about human sexuality. How… interesting? Anyway, in class we learned about a couple who went in for premarital counseling. For some reason, the man went in for some sort of test- and it came back saying that he had XX chromosomes. Whoops. However, he had grown up as boy/man, and had the genitals, but he was really a female. He had girlish characteristics in that he had finer facial hair and smoother features, but physically, he was a man. (Except that he had no sperm.) Biologically (XX), he was a female. So the question is what do you do if you were in that situation? Especially as a Christian (which they were)? My goodness. What a weird situation.

Well, enough of that. Today, Janelle and I are going to study World Civ with Sarah and Annette at 3:00, then go to Wal*Mart. After that, more studying, and then we’re going to do something fun tonight. So it should be an ok day. As long as I can wake up.

Janelle just gave us our Christmas presents- mine was a fuzzy zebra belt!!! It is so awesome!! I’m wearing it now and it looks fabulous (if I do say so myself). Everyone WILL see it when I get home. You will be forced to, so be forewarned!

Off to World Civ. G'day, Mate!

Wow. Adopt, I guess? That's crazy.
I know how you feel about the tired thing--I sat in my roommate's bed intending to study...and woke up two hours later. :( Bad news.

HA. And that's just the begining. There is also a sexual dimorphism that causes a person (I forget what actual genes they carry) to develop completely female until puberty. That's when s/he becomes masculine. Deep voice, hair on chest, muscular, the whole thing.
I had a whole class on these types of things. =)
